Three wealthy, spoiled and unruly children become the target of Brenda's investigation when their stepmother is murdered and the family butler seemingly commits suicide shortly thereafter. Riding heard on the trio is their family attorney, who cleans up their messes and provides them with alibis. Convinced the butler was actually murdered, Brenda sets out to discover which of the children committed the murders, and finds the real killer was someone altogether different!
One of Kris's old friends shows up on the ranch and actually admits that he was the one who was responsible for Kris getting in trouble for the car theft. Matt decides to throw a party at the ranch while his mom is away at a horse show.
Tony travels to the far away country of Vietnam, where he meets up with an old friend (who also happens to work for the People's Committee) with whom he traverses the ancient culture. He ends up going on a trip that takes him through isolated villages and finishes on an island resort, owned by the mysterious Mr. Sang.
As Celia deals with the other woman in her marriage, Nancy contemplates creating an enterprise to solve the cash-only financial issues caused by her drug dealing. Silas has to come to terms with his girlfriend's sudden departure, while Shane tries to come to terms with missing his Dad.
