SG-1 gets pulled back into Martin Lloyd's world when he convinces the powers that be to let him talk to the team, as he is about to revive the Wormhole X-treme TV series as a big screen movie. He needs help with ideas from SG-1 to try to make the movie 'real.' The team fights this, but Gen. Landry orders them to help, but says he will get them out of the meeting as soon as possible. However, when the General drags them out of the meeting, the gate activation breaks down, leaving them stranded with time to try to help Martin out with his project, to their dismay.
Evicted Tosca realizes she probably will not be allowed to return to Meerkat Manor, so she considers starting a group of her own. Flower leaves Shakespeare in charge when she leads the family on a search for food.
Shawn reluctantly settles for a private client who claims a ghost has it in for him after Lassiter kicks Gus and him off the much more interesting case of a murdered psychologist, but the two investigations seem to be running parallel and Shawn may still end up solving the police's case.
Kate Thornton returns to present the new series of X Factor. The auditions start in Manchester where Tim's performance leaves all the judges speechless. When 16 year old Shaun enters the audition room he is over come by nerves and Sharon asks him to come back and try again later. When the auditions hit London, Simon shocks Sharon and Louis by introducing guest judge Paula Abdul to them. Pure Liberty, Leona and Jonathan all manage to impress the judges and make it through. Donna and Francesco are not as lucky and receive bad reviews. When the auditions return to Manchester, Shaun overcomes his nerves and makes it through to the next stage.
