Rescue dog owners need help from hell hounds, starting with Terrier cross, Sammy, who cries around skateboarders and large dogs. Sahzi, a Belgian Tervuren, won't enter the kitchen or certain hallways and Leis Rachal with her daughter need help choosing the right dog to adopt.
Optimus begins to piece together his real identity using several clues (including Starscream referring to his as a 'prime' -- whoops!), and eventually rebels against Megatron's orders. Meanwhile, Optimus' Autobot pals hatch a risky plan to get their leader back.
Mitch and Ray are hired by a desperate father, Sergeant Leonard Debs, who enlists their help with the mysterious death of his son. However, their investigation puts them both in the center of the surreal world of Federal "terror law," where national security trumps civil liberties and secret proceedings replace public hearings. Meanwhile, Tammy finds herself a new job, in an effort to help further their ongoing investigation in the Sarah Holt case.
