While accompanying Gul Dukat to his first hearing on his war crimes, Captain Sisko and the rest of the USS Honsh? are attacked by the Dominion. When Sisko awakens, he is on a planet with his left arm in a cast and Gul Dukat as his only companion. Dukat was able to save Sisko by making it to a shuttle with the Captain in tow. On the surface of a barren planet, their now repaired distress beacon will hopefully send help.
Puddy is promoted from a mechanic to a car salesman, so Jerry tries to use Puddy to get a good deal on a new car. But when Elaine and Puddy get into a fight, Jerry tries to get them back together so he can get his good deal. At the dealership, George tries to get a twinkie, but the vending machine won't take his dollar. Meanwhile, Kramer test drives a car and pushes it to the limit to see if it can handle a day in the life of Kramer.
Another elderly rape victim is brought into the ER. Carter picks up an aspiring med student at a seminar he taught and brings her to the ER for a brief lesson. "Wild Willy" Swift returns as a Synergix attending physician. Romano clashes with Corday after she goes over his head for Allison Beaumont. Dr. Anspaugh's son comes into the ER with cancer-like symptoms. Carol and Doug argue over marriage.
