During Longford's retirement party, the squad learns that assistant prosecutor Alice Williams has been shot andhuged in the courthouse parking garage. For the team this case is personal and the suspects are many. It also emerges that Williams and a reporter were building a case against a prominent figure, someone Fitch has had run-ins with in the past.
