Maddie is a teen girl stuck in the afterlife decides to investigate her mysterious disappearance alongside a group of other students who are also stuck in limbo at their high school. She goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.
