Stardate: 47622.1 When a well adjusted crewman commits suicide for no reason, it is up to Troi and Worf to investigate the event. The investigation leads to Troi seeing things that are not really there, and to the events and people that were involved around the time of Enterprise's construction.
In the first of a three-part series, noted anthropologist Donald Johanson probes the earliest ancestors of the human species - reaching back more than three million years to a strange ape who walked upright. Johanson takes viewers to the site in Ethiopia where he discovered the fossil remains of this missing link nicknamed "Lucy".
When TV-producer Don Brand visits the beach, he is delighted to discover that the actions that take place on the beach are perfect for a TV-series. He calls the TV-series "Rescue Bay". He gets inspired when he witness Stephanie, Matt and Summer rescue two men on a boat, and when Garner catches a bad guy with the help of a kid's kite. Brand is convinced that he has a number one show in his hand.
The Warners are featured in one of their early shorts. The short is in the style of silent era cartoons and features music but no dialogue. According to the opening narration, the short was made in 1929 before the Warners were locked in the water tower.
Slappy and Skippy want to go to her summer cottage, but when they get there the see that they are in the middle the 1960's musical festival Woodstock. Skippy marvels at the music, but Slappy wants them to go away. She doesn't have much success until she decides to play some music herself. She plays a polka and everyone runs.
