Teal'c finds out his son is to be married, which then causes some tension between the two. Teal'c is later ambushed off world, at meeting with the warriors of Hak'tyl, as they are planning a rebellion against the Goa'uld Moloc.
The army's camp in the north, led by Armstrong and headed by Havoc posing as Mustang, starts a military coup. This distracts the attention of the Fuhrer and his minions, while the real Mustang plots his attack on the Fuhrer in Central. Al has been abducted by Envy. Sensei and Ed are forced to pursue the only lead they have on the Homunculi, the Fuhrer himself. They assault the headquarters to find the Fuhrer has gone home early, but they are fortunate in their timing, and are able to help the Tringham brothers (imposter Elrics) escape from prison there. Ed goes off to fight the Fuhrer while sensei battles with the new and improved Frank Archer.
The gang begins on a journey to Fallabor Town, so May can compete in another Contest. In a field on rare Watmel Berries, Ash battles with the protector of the Watmels to strengthen his Treeko and make it learn new abilities.
The judges visit Newcastle. Two rivalry bands both get through to the next round. A girl tries out with her two best friends, only to be told by Simon that she has to ditch them if she wants to go any further. After a heart-to-heart with her friends, the girl tries out in front of the judges on her own. Louis gets re-acquainted with an old friend. Simon suggests that Louis take her out, then when she turns up for their lunch date with her dog, Louis runs away from Simon and out of the back door.
Two frantic parents have lost their children and fears that they have left the hospital while visiting their sick great-grandfather. They have been captured on CCTV outside the hospital, but haven't been seen since. A stricken rape victim is brought in, tied with copper wire. Dad knocks on the flats around their home, and comes across a convicted pedophile, who looks shifty. Meanwhile, police have found a bloodied hood, belonging to the girl.
