To keep C.J. from spending Christmas alone in Las Vegas, the Hennessy household bends over backwards to recreate one of Cate's first holiday memories to entice him to stay. Meanwhile, Rory decides to break up with his wealthy girlfriend when he fears that he won't be able to buy her a Christmas gift worthy of her upper class status.

It's Christmas Eve. Col. MacKenzie crashes her car on the way home, and while unconscious through a series of episode flashbacks and discussions with a base therapist deals with many of her issues including infertility, insomnia, loneliness, Webb, and Harm.

After finally enjoying herself while at the Christmas party things go back to bad for Comfort when she arrives home and finds Ruth has moved into her flat and she is homeless. Selena continues to harass Bex and Abs finds Sam tending to a patient.
