A witch's cat familiar turns evil, transforms into a human, and kills his master. He now seeks to get himself killed nine times by the Charmed Ones, which will cause him to permanently become an immortal warlock. Also, Leo and Piper decide to move out, leading the sisters to recall a time before their powers, when Phoebe first moved out and their Grandmother was ill.
Emily is upset when she finds out that Richard's mother, Trix is coming by for a visit. Meanwhile, Paris is not pleased that Tristan asked Rory out on a date. When Paris talks to Rory about it, she denies it, making Paris even madder. During Friday night dinner, Trix offers to help Lorelai and Rory, but Emily, afraid of losing Lorelai and Rory, warns Trix not to.
Tim is delighted but nervous as anything when Damian Knox of Darkstar Comics asks him to bring in his portfolio. The last time they met, Knox cruelly put down Tim's work, hence Tim drew a less than flattering portrait of him. Daisy puts this drawing into Tim's portfolio, trying to help, and leaving Tim with a short time to retrieve the drawing, with the assistance of Mike and Tyres.
