Garak, the Cardassian clothier on Deep Space Nine, begins to suffer from seizure-like conditions. Doctor Bashir tries to offer his services, but each time Garak refuses. Witnessing Garak attempting to purchase some merchandise from Quark sparks Bashir's curiosity and, with Odo's help, he is able to find out that Garak has an implant which is malfunctioning and could end up killing him.
Clark, Perry, Jack and Jimmy begin to search for the truth about the downfall of the Daily Planet. They are sure that Lex is guilty. Lex gets some Kryptonite, captures Superman, and locks him in a cage with Kryptonite bars. The wedding is about to start, but Lois has doubts about what she really wants to do. Lois realizes that Clark is the man she loves. When the Archbishop asks if she takes Lex as her husband, she says she can't, and at that moment Perry interrupts the wedding with Inspector Henderson and they tell Lex they know he is a criminal. Lex escapes, and goes to the room where Superman is trapped, but Superman has escaped. Lois walks out of the building crying, and hugs Clark (he just escaped from the cage). Lex throws himself off the top of his building, but Clark can't save him because he is weak from Kryptonite exposure. In this underwater short, a mermaid version of Mindy chases after a jellyfish. It is up to a dogfish version of Buttons to keep her out of trouble. He helps protect her from a number of dangers including an octopus, but he is still scolded by Neptune.
Katie talks to her friends on the phone keeping a number on call waiting. Katie's father gets the phone for a business and gets a call from one of Katie's friends. He finishes and can't remeber who called. She gets angry and explodes.
